The face is hand painted with simple, Waldorf-inspired features. 
 Nanchen Dolls have been hand made in a small workshop in Martinhagen/Schauenburg, Germany since 1983. No less than 15 employees work on producing Nanchen Dolls. The doll’s faces are hand-painted directly in the workshop. Due to the dolls being handmade,  there will be slight variations.  Made from organic materials.
