Use this food safe, nut free, beeswax wood finish to clean and condition wooden toys, wooden kitchen cabinet doors, cutting boards, rolling pins and bowls. It’s nontoxic and real food based rather than petroleum based like mineral oil. At first, the finish should be reapplied to your wooden utensils or toys each time you wash them in soapy water. After a few applications the wood won’t require it as often as it reaches saturation. Once saturated, the wooden tool or toy will feel smooth rather than dry and coarse grained after washing.
Heat from a heat gun, hair dryer or buffing helps the wood absorb the finish. For maximum penetration, warm the wood, melt the finish and apply with soft cloth
